If we are going to travel together on a journey there must be some decisions like where we are starting, what is our final destination, and what route are we going to take to get there. Mis-communication can cause us to miss out on the trip and the reward of reaching our final destination.made, If we are going to travel through life with God it is not so much a meeting of the minds with each party giving up a little and getting a little and crafting an itinerary that is acceptable to both parties but us yielding our will to God and acknowledging His way is best for us (in this case, Father really does know best!) and falling in line with His will for us. If we are not willing to do that we will never move forward. You may think you have no idea what the will of God is for your life, but I got a great place for you to start then: the Bible. Here are just some examples of what I know are the will of God for your life:

  • Salvation, it is not God’s will that any should perish but all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) If we are not saved, the Holy Spirit does not dwell in us and He cannot lead us towards God.

A thankful attitude, In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) being thankful in all situations helps us maintain a positive mental attitude and avoids problems like depression.
